EEK is great for small group time, but can also be used as an independent centre – complete with “I Can” cards to encourage student independence.
All that you need to play the game is what’s included in this pack and a die for each group. If you prefer pocket dice, I have also included cards that can be placed inside your pocket dice.
This resource includes:
- One game mat
- “I Can” cards (full page and half page options)
- Alphabet cards (letters A-Z)
- Pre-made cards for 60 high-frequency words
- an EDITABLE page of blank cards, where you can add your own words
Students will practice the letter names of all 26 letters (majuscule and minuscule) and 60 high-frequency words via this game.
There is also an editable page, where you can add your own sight words!
