FRENCH Number Tracing Practice Worksheets – Tracer les chiffres

Kindergarten students need LOTS of practice correctly forming their numbers! Use these tracing sheets to teach your French primary students students correct numeral formation for maximum neatness and efficiency.

I find the numbers on these sheets to be the perfect size, and there is a star on each letter, to show them the correct place to start. There is also space on the bottom of each sheet for students to represent the target number.

This resource contains:

• 30 tracing sheets (one each for numbers 1-30)
• Each sheet contains many opportunities to trace the target number
• Each sheet contains space to represent the number (by drawing shapes for numbers 1-10 and dots in a 10 frame for numbers 11-30)

The focus of these sheets is correctly forming each number – each page is filled with places for your students to trace and practice the the target number on their own.

Your French primary students can use these sheets to practice their numbers however you like – whole group, small group, centres, early finishers… the choice is yours!

I use these whole group, at the carpet, because I like to be able to see that everyone is following directions and writing their numbers properly – bad habits can be hard to break!
