Description
Looking for a quick, easy way to assess your students’ French sounds knowledge this year?
Use this Google Slides™ presentation to efficiently evaluate your students’ French sound knowledge. Print the tracking sheets, and use them while your students name the sounds to track the ones they know, and the ones they are still working on.
(The order of the sounds on the tracking sheets match the order in the presentations, to make things easier for you!)
Then, use your tracking sheets to help you let parents know which French sounds their child has mastered, and which they still need to work on.
You can type right inside of the PDF document by opening it in Adobe, or, if you prefer, you can print it blank and write with a pen.
This resource includes a slideshow for 33 different French sounds (all typed in lowercase letters), and a PDF containing the tracking sheet and three partially-editable parent letter templates. You’ll need a device that can open Google Slides™ to use this resource!
This resource includes:
- A Google Slides™ presentation for 33 different French sounds – one sound per slide, white on a back background
- A tracking sheet to track one student 4x per year OR 4 different students at a time, once per year. Prior to printing, you are able to type student names and dates in the fillable boxes using Adobe. Or, print as-is and handwrite the names and dates.
- 3 templates for parent letters – use these letters to inform parents of their child’s assessment, and list the sounds they already know + the ones they need to work on. Templates include one in English, one in French, and one in both languages
- Teacher instructions for getting set up
- The 33 sounds included to assess are: on, ou, au, ain, eau, é, oeu, ch, in, an, ei, en, eu, oi, ai, er, ui, am, ez, om, im, aim, oin, em, gn, et, è, ien, qu, ill, ouill, euil, ail. You can delete any slides of sounds you don’t need to assess.
This resource makes assessment quick and easy, and makes communicating with parents a snap!
