FRENCH Square Rhyme Posters – Affiches de rimes

Teaching rhymes to your French primary students? Use these 25 colourful square posters to teach & review a variety of rhyming words and word endings!

Research shows a correlation between rhyming mastery and future reading preparedness in children, so we definitely want to make sure our students become experts at rhyming, especially if they haven’t had much practice at home!

These square rhyming posters are a great way to get your students practicing their rhyming skills. Each poster features 3-4 beautiful, colourful images of objets that rhyme. Each word has been carefully chosen to have both the same ending sound and the same spelling of the final sound, to help students begin to learn which spelling patterns make which sounds. The final sound is highlighted.

The posters are square, to help you save on space when displaying them. Your students will also learn lots of new French vocabulary while reviewing these posters!
