Mur de mots personnel – FRENCH personal word walls (EDITABLE version included)

Are your French primary students frustrated by needing to know how to spell certain irregular words in their writing, over and over (like sibling/friends names, sight words you haven’t yet taught to the class, or popular words that they haven’t learned phonics rules for yet)?

I have the solution for you – use these pages to create personal word walls for each of your students!

Simply print a copy of the four pages for each student, and glue one page to each side of a file folder (cover, inside, and back). Laminate for durability, and when your students come across a word that they write frequently but that isn’t on the class word wall (ex. a sibling’s name or a word that is tricky to sound out phonetically), use a Sharpie to write their word under the appropriate letter.

Alternatively, you can print them and place them back-to-back inside of two page protectors and add them to a writing folder or duotang.

What a great way to help students learn words that are relevant to them personally, yet foster independence!

Each letter of the alphabet includes an image to help students identify the correct sound of each letter. These images match my other alphabet products.
