French Roule et couvre – Roll and Cover Math Mats

These simple seasonal math mats are perfect for counting practice to 20 with a partner (and, they can also be used solo if partners are a no-go!).

To prep, just print and laminate the desired boards. Provide students with two dice and some snap cubes to mark what they roll. Students will take turns rolling the two dice, counting the dots, and placing a cube on a corresponding number. If the number is covered, they miss their turn.

To play with a winner, students can count their cubes once everything is covered and the partner with the most cubes wins.
