French Spring Decoding Vowel Sounds Worksheets – le printemps

These French Spring -Themed Look & Find Decoding and Writing Practice Worksheets are a simple, fun, and engaging activity for your French primary students to try this year! These worksheets work well with French Science of Reading, as they will allow your students to practice decoding words with the target sounds you are teaching.

These activity sheets work on decoding AND letter formation, as students will use a magnifying glass (not included) to search for and rewrite the 10 French words hidden in each spring -themed picture.

This product includes:

• 10 different activity sheets, each with 10 hidden words containing one target vowel sound
• All worksheets have a spring theme

You can do these sheets whole-group (if you have enough magnifying glasses), or use them as a literacy centre (that’s what I do)!

Once your students find all 10 words, they can colour the picture.

This activity is my secret weapon for getting my students excited about practicing decoding!
