FRENCH Mental Math – Doubles and Halves – Worksheets & Math Centre Activity

Looking for a fun, engaging, French mental math resource to help your students master doubles and halves?

These fun games will help your students master their doubles facts to 20 without even realizing it!

This resource includes 6 worksheets in black & white, and the same 6 worksheets as an in-colour game board option. The black & white version can be used as a whole-class activity, and then you can print and laminate the coloured versions to use as an independent math centre once everyone understands how the game works.

There are two activities for doubling, and two for halves.

Activity #1: Roll & Cover

Students can start anywhere on the board. They will roll a die and move that many spaces. They will double or halve the number they land on, and colour or cover the correct answer in the middle of the board. If no correct answers are left, they roll again.

Activity #2: Spin & Cover

Students will spin the spinner using a paperclip and pencil. They will double or halve the number they land on, and colour or cover the correct answer in the circles. If no correct answers are left, they spin again.
